I attended two Writer's Toolkit workshops in order to improve my business
writing skills after a co-worker recommended them. I now compose letters
and reports without fear. My e-mail skills also improved. I get what I want from written requests for information or help because my message is clear and to the point. I no longer struggle to get started and my writing requires fewer revisions. I write more in less time with less effort and better results.
Prior to class, I did not want to attend, thinking it would be boring, too basic and would not apply to my job. That thought was completely wrong. I have gained a clearer understanding of the rules and gained helpful guidelines to make important changes in my writing.
I felt coming into the class that I had outstanding writing skills. I still feel that way, but learned a lot about things I was doing incorrectly or could do better.

This material can be very difficult and confusing. The facilitator's delivery was crisp, kept everyone's attention and was very effective. I wish the class could have been longer.

The course materials complemented the objectives. Learning grammar and punctuation is not inherently exciting to most, but the worksheets and discussions were formed well to keep the class interested. Outstanding, much more than I imagined it would be. Gave excellent insights and feedback.
